Delta Adds Direct Flights For Super Bowl Fans

To help Steelers and Packers fans get to the Super Bowl and back home again, Delta Air Lines has added a handful of direct flights between the teams' supporting cities and Texas.

Delta has added three direct flights for Steelers fans. Two flights will depart Pittsburgh International Airport to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on February 4 and 5, and one return flight has been added for February 7.

Packers fans have even more options, with five additional flights added to the Delta roster from Wisconsin. Flights will leave Milwaukee and Green Bay on February 3, and an additional plane has been scheduled on February 4 from Milwaukee. Returning to Wisconsin, Delta will fly two planes from Texas to Green Bay and Milwaukee on February 7.

The new routes were all added specifically for Super Bowl fans: Delta does not currently offer a direct flight between Texas and either of the teams' home cities.

In two separate press releases, the airline says it is "proud to be flying some of football's greatest fans on Delta to cheer on the [Steelers/Packers] in the Super Bowl."

The big game will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday, February 6. The stadium is approximately 20 minutes from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport if traffic is flowing well.
