Get a free membership to Sam's Club for one day with coupon code 10851. Ends Jan. 25, 2011. Normally, a non-member pays a 10% surcharge when buying online. (Costco's surcharge is 5%, BJ's is 15%). The freebie is also valid in stores, though you first need to follow steps online.

Look for the "Try Sam's Club FREE" box in the middle of the homepage. The box scrolls through various promotions so if you don't see the free trial offer immediately, hang tight.

Caveats: this free membership is valid on stores but you have to sign up online to get the in store pass. The free membership is good for one day only. You must be 18 or older to sign up for the free pass.
