The family that purchased the home of actor Joey Lawrence (pictured left with his family) has dropped the price of the 8,100-square-foot Encino, Calif., home 18.75 percent, to $2.599 million, since they first listed it for $3.199 million a year ago, the listing agent Craig Knizek of Prescott Properties, told AOL Real Estate.

Lawrence, the former child star known for his role as Joey Russo on Blossom that followed his run on Gimme a Break!, purchased the Spanish-style 6-bedroom home in 1994 for $1.175 million, when he was 18, reported the Real Estalker, which also misreported that Lawrence still owns the home.

Lawrence tried selling it previously in October 2001 and then re-listed it in October 2002, around the time he married his first wife Michella Vella, whom he divorced in 2005. The current owners purchased it after the 2002 listing, says Knizek, who is also the former producer of Mad About You, and currently producers The Paul Reiser Show.
