Ivanka Trump's Husband Selling $4M Apartment

ivanka trumpIvanka Trump isn't going to live just anywhere. Donald Trump's sharp-and-stunning daughter made a major family merger when she married Jared Kushner, another child of a billionaire real estate scion. So where would two New York kids flush with cash and lousy with properties start their lives?

They'll know it when they find it.

The couple has reportedly been apartment hunting in SoHo. Meanwhile, they've been living at Kushner's former bachelor pad on Astor Place in the East Village. The 2,000-square-foot condo just went on the market for $4.1 million, listed with Sotheby's. Kushner bought the 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath duplex in spring 2009 for $3.225.

The historic building has a brick exterior and signature arched windows, which the apartment features, along with a bevy of bachelor extras like a fully wired for surround sound system, a built-in ice cooler, wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and upgraded steam showers.

Not to mention quite a few kitchen upgrades, according to listing agent Torsten Krines, such as new appliances, additional cabinets, new counter tops, an extra dishwasher (for a total of two) and a food warming drawer.

"In general, the current owner refined an already very special property with a lot of detail work that is usually overlooked (time consuming) and takes an expert eye to make perfect," says Krines.

No doubt Ivanka had a say in the newly configured walk-in closet. But apparently it's not enough room for her jewelry collection -- they're hunting for a 3-bedroom.
