FarmVille Winter Wonderland Animals: Icelandic Horse & Puffin now available

If you like to collect the many different varieties of animals in FarmVille (and who doesn't?), you'll be happy to know that two new (well...kind of new) animals have been released in tonight's update, with these two animals being part of the limited edition Winter Wonderland theme of items.

For the next 13 days, you'll be able to get your hands on an Icelandic Horse and a Puffin (one of the cutest birds around, if you ask me). First things first, the Icelandic Horse costs 24 Farm Cash to purchase, and is able to be harvested once every three days. It can be placed inside the Horse Stable in order to create the possibility of breeding an Icelandic Foal, which can then be shared with your friends.

The Puffin, however, is a bit more interesting. If the item seems familiar, that's because this isn't the first time we've seen this little feathered fellow pop up in the game. Remember the New England theme that took place in FarmVille back in July? Well, the Puffin was available then too, and is now making a comeback. Luckily, there hasn't been a price increase since July - the Puffin cost 14 Farm Cash to purchase way back when, and still costs 14 Farm Cash to purchase now. If you simply missed out on purchasing the bird the first time - here is your second chance. It can be harvested from every 2 days, and you'll receive 54 coins each time you do so.

Want to give your previously purchased Puffin a new friend, or do you want to add another breed of horse to your growing collection? Do it fast, as you'll only have two weeks to make a decision on purchasing these animals before they disappear from the store. The Puffin is a prime example of how animals can come back from retirement, but do you want to wait six months or more to purchase these animals if you miss your chance now?
