Digital Chocolate launches Millionaire City & MMA Pro Fighter on Android
If you can't get enough of Facebook games Millionaire City (the second fastest growing game of last year, according to the company) or MMA Pro Fighter, and you happen to own an Android device, you can now play both games on said Android devices, as Digital Chocolate has today announced the launch of both titles on the Android Platform.
Both games are available to download exclusively via GetJar, the largest open app store around, and of course, both are free, just as they are online if you were to play through Facebook. Also, you can use Facebook Connect to find your friends that play the game, and add more social features to what might otherwise be a completely solo experience.
COO of Digital Chocolate, Jason Loia, says that bringing the company's games to Android "made a lot of sense," as the platform is growing. As for the decision to launch the games via GetJar, rather than the traditional Android Market, Loia had this to say (via a company press release):
We decided to launch our games on GetJar because of their proven ability to market apps and games to consumers, their understanding of the space and their willingness to work closely with publishers to build awareness of their content.
