Ellen Helps Unemployed Mother of Five

Sheri Caine didn't realize she was about to see her dreams come true the night she hit the "send" button on a heartfelt email to Ellen Degeneres. "I've seen Ellen do a lot of amazing things for so many people, so I went to her website and thought, 'Why not tell her my story?''' said the laid-off, widowed mother of five boys. A few days later Caine's doorbell rang, and standing there was one of Ellen's producers with the keys to a new car, a new job, and a new life.
