Little Bear Brand Produce Recall Expands to 19 Vegetables, Greens
expanded its recall of Little Bear brand produce to include 19 other vegetables and fresh greens for possible salmonella contamination, the Texas company said.
This week the company recalled certain lots of curly parsley and cilantro after tests showed positive for salmonella contamination. So far there have been no illnesses reported.
The expanded recall includes 16 states -- Washington, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Missouri, Rhode Island, New York, Texas, Ohio, Connecticut, Ohio, Colorado, Illinois and Oklahoma -- and the provinces of Ontario and Quebec in Canada.
