Whole Foods Market

recalled gourmet raw milk cheese it sold in three states and Washington, D.C., because it may be contaminated with e. coli and thought to be a possible source of an outbreak that has sickened eight people, said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The cheese -- cut and repacked by Whole Foods as a store brand -- came from Sally Jackson Cheese of Oroville, Wash., which recalled all of its cheese last week. Consumers in California, Nevada, Washington state and D.C. who have the Whole Foods cheese shouldn't eat it and should take it back to the store for a refund.
