Hotel Offers Ultimate Package for Car Enthusiasts
The "Car Package" at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich includes three days' use of a sleek Mercedes – depending on the season you get to drive a Mercedes M Cass or Mercedes SL convertible – two nights at the Munich hotel and one night at the Brenner's Park-Hotel in Baden-Baden.
But perhaps the bigger attraction is the included tours at the BMW Welt facility (home of the GINA, the world's first concept car) and BMW museum in Munich; the Audi museum and Audi's largest plant in Ingolstadt; the Porsche Museum at the factory in Stuttgart, which has 80 iconic vehicles; and the Mercedes Benz Museum, with its 1,500 exhibits, and Mercedes factory in Stuttgart.
The package is priced at $1,937 per room, and available until May 31.
Officials at the Munich hotel say they can also arrange private tours and driving sessions, for an extra charge.
