2 Million Heaters Sold at Walmart Recalled, Blamed in Fires

More than 2 million portable electric heaters sold at Walmart stores are being recalled after 21 incidents, including fires in which four consumers were hurt, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

Flow Pro, Airtech, Aloha Breeze & Comfort Essentials 1500 watt heaters are being recalled. They are gray and have vents and metal handles. The Chinese-made heaters were sold at Walmart stores for about $18 between December 2001 and October 2009. They have the model number 1013 on the label that is on the bottom left on the back of the heater.
