The Radio City Rockettes first kicked their way onto the stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall on December 27, 1932, and almost immediately gained the status of American icons. The 36-member dance troupe is now most famous for their starring role each year in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular holiday show, which also features a Living Nativity with live animals, an indoor snowfall, fireworks and Santa Claus flying across the theater on a journey to the North Pole.
