An Ohio man is accused of telling people he was collecting money for homeless shelters and veteran's organizations and spending the money on his personal bills.

Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray says Michael Muhammad told people that money he collected for two organizations, "Help Homeless Veterans Inc.," and "Veterans Hope Community House Inc." went to support veterans in the area. Muhammad, along with co-defendants Grover Holstein and Melvin Phipps, asked for money from residents in Lima, Kenton and Ada.
