John Mayer Lists L.A. Crash Pad at a Loss

John Mayer, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter with the loose lips, is done "Waiting for the World to Change." The controversial pop star has listed his Pacific Palisades home in the posh Highlands community of Los Angeles for $1,325,000 – almost a half-million less than he purchased it for in June 2006.

Unfortunately for Mayer, home prices in 2010 are only a shade of their former glory back in 2006, when the housing market was at its dangerously-inflated peak. Even if the college rocker manages to sell at list price, he'll be down $425,000 from the get-go.
