Bumble Bee Chicken Salad Recalled Over Fears It Contains Plastic

About 72,000 pounds of Bumble Bee chicken salad products have been recalled because they may contain bits of hard plastic, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The recall includes Bumble Bee Lunch on the Run Chicken Salad Complete Lunch Kit and Bumble Bee Chicken Salad with Crackers products. USDA said the Suter Co, of Illinois assembled the chicken salad products for the Bumble Bee brand between Aug. 14 and Aug. 28, 2010, and shipped the food to distributors and retail stores nationwide.
