Josh Duhamel Kicked Off New York Flight
The 38-year-old actor was reportedly asked by a male flight attendant three times before takeoff to turn off his device, and laughed at the request, TMZ reports.
Flight 3749, operated by Air Wisconsin, was heading to Lexington, Kentucky.
Air Wisconsin spokeswoman Annette Daly tells AOL Travel News, "The flight had departed and was on the runway and returned to the gate."
She declined to comment further saying, "As a matter of company policy and to respect the privacy of all our passengers we don't disclose any passenger information."
According to TMZ, Duhamel was escorted off the plane by two airline representatives.
One passenger on the flight tells the news outlet that Duhamel was "very rude" and "taunting the attendant."
The flight had been delayed even before the incident. Before boarding the plane, according to TMZ, Duhamel was in an airport bar watching the Cleveland/Miami basketball game.
Duhamel's rep says that the actor was texting on his Blackberry on the plane about the flight being delayed, and adds, "He's sorry."
