93,000 New Private Sector Jobs, But Not Enough to Reduce Unemployment

Updated

The stock market cheered the November 2010 jobs report with a more than 200 point gain. As ADP reports, 93,000 private sector jobs had been created during November, the biggest increase in three years.

Also, the October 2010 figures were revised upwards, from 43,000 to 82,000. But there's no euphoria among experts on unemployment.

Just to keep up with population growth, America needs to be creating about 175,000 new jobs every month. The November and the October figures are nowhere near that.
