'Top Chef' Penthouse Lists for $7.25M
The "Top Chef: All-Stars" penthouse is a 4,638-square-foot, four-bedroom waterfront "Sky House" at One Brooklyn Bridge Park, accessed by a private elevator. Its 360-degree views of Manhattan and Brooklyn, include the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. The triplex penthouse, perched atop the 438-unit condominium, was designed with chefs in mind, especially those of "Top Chef: All Stars." It features a custom-built Italian kitchen by Dada and is outfitted with appliances by Sub-Zero and Bosch, including a double-wall oven and five-burner cooktop.
There is also a 1,000-square-foot private roof deck with lounge furniture and Weber grill.
Although Bravo TV is not releasing photos of the "Top Chef: All Stars" cast occupying the penthouse, the skyline views for the contestants in its eighth season would be from a higher vantage point than what's shown in the picture (below) of the model sales unit.
When not in the "Top Chef: All Stars" kitchen, contestants were able to take advantage of a fully-equipped fitness center, yoga room, art room, music room and media lounge, as well as indoor virtual golf with a driving range.
"The luxurious penthouse provided a nice escape for the cast, on the other side of the river, and gave the 'chef'testants' the perfect place to rest and recharge," said Robert Levine, CEO of RAL Companies, the project's developer.
For those who can't afford to spend millions on a home, some loft units in the building are selling for under $500,000.
