Jason Lee of 'My Name Is Earl' Sells L.A. Home

Updated

Chalk it up to Earl Hickey's karma: "My Name Is Earl" actor Jason Lee sold his Los Angeles area home for $3.1 million, just three years after buying it from musician Robert Cray for $3.4 million. Heck, most home sellers are happy to get out of homes they bought that year still wearing their shirts, so we suspect Lee is shedding few tears.

"My Name is Earl," the 2005-2009 TV comedy about a lovable petty thief trying to make amends to all those he wronged, thrust Lee into the spotlight as an actor. Lee already had established himself as a professional skateboarder; he and Tony Hawk were the first two skateboarders to get signature shoe deals with Airwalk.
