Bassett Furniture Recalls Drop-Side Cribs After 18 Incidents

Bassett Furniture is recalling about 90,000 drop-side cribs sold over the past decade after 18 reported incidents of the drop side malfunctioning and 154 reports of the hardware breaking, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

In three of the incidents, the CPSC said, the infants fell out of the cribs. In another, the child was trapped between the drop side and mattress. None of the children were injured.
