Hershey's is introducing a new chocolate product called Hershey's Drops by giving away free chocolate samples -- 1,200 total will be doled out randomly at the pace of 80 bags per day. One grand prize winner will receive 52 bags of Hershey's drops. The new candy isn't for sale until December, so if you fill out the freebie request form, you may be one of the first people to try them. I played and was rejected. Boo.

The drops look surprisingly like M&M's, made by rival candy maker Mars, but are flatter and have no candy shell. I'm sorry, does anybody have a problem with the candy shell? Hershey's drops come in two flavors, milk chocolate and cookies 'n cream.
