Martha Drops Apt. Price: It's a Good Thing

Martha Stewart stakes her name on getting everything just right. The price of her fabulous downtown New York City penthouse on Perry Street in the West Village -- which she recently dropped by $2 million -- appears to be an exception. It's now listed at $13.9 million after being offered in February for $15.9 million.

The apartment's 11-foot-high windows give a 360-degree view that includes the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty, as well as Manhattan's skyline. Neighbors include Nicole Kidman and Calvin Klein.

The Richard Meier-designed building includes oodles of amenities, including a keyed elevator that accesses both floors of the condo, a state-of-the-art fitness center and Jean-Georges Vongerichten's acclaimed restaurant, Perry Street.
