Get free in-flight Wi-Fi on all domestic flights on Virgin America, AirTran, and Delta between Nov. 20, 2010 and Jan. 2, 2011. The airlines are partnering with Google Chrome, an internet browser, to offer this holiday gift to customers. Every single airplane on these carriers is outfitted with GoGo Inflight Internet, according to Google.

All you need is your laptop or smart phone to get connected. GoGo costs about $13 for a cross-country trip and less for shorter flights. I've used the airlines internet service at 35,000 feet and it works surprisingly well. Once I had a video chat with a friend while I was miles above Kansas.
