Whitesnake Video Vixen Kitaen Sells Short

Tawny Kitaen of Whitesnake music video fame sold two of her luxury homes in a short saleTawny Kitaen, the former Whitesnake music video babe and a star of the cheesy 1980s classic "Bachelor Party," was recently forced to sell two of her luxury Orange County, Calif. homes at a steep loss.

The first property, an Irvine, Calif. penthouse sold for $2,520,000. While it's unknown how much the home was bought for, public records show that Kitaen borrowed $2,627,140 against the property in August 2007, presumably when the home was valued higher.

The second, a Newport Beach house purchased in August 2007 for $2,700,000 sold for $1,810,000 – almost a third less than she bargained for. Both properties were transferred on Oct. 29.
The Irvine penthouse features two-story-high windows, marble counters a private balcony and access to a "state-of-the-art" fitness center and Olympic sized pool. The Newport Beach home was in the process of major remodeling,

The model-actress (born Julie Kitaen) made headlines in 2002 for allegedly assaulting her then-husband, Major League Baseball player Chuck Finley of the St. Louis Cardinals. In 2006, she entered rehab for charges of cocaine possession and would later appear as a cast member of the VH1 reality show "Celebrity Rehab" in 2008. In 2009 she was arrested in Newport Beach on suspicion of driving under the influence.

She may be best known for her appearance in a trilogy of Whitesnake music videos (seen at the bottom of this post), which featured her and her erstwhile husband, Whitesnake front man David Coverdale, in several compromising positions.
