Museum of Sex takes half off in Groupon

Finally, a holiday discount on sex. The Museum of Sex in Manhattan has hooked up with Groupon, offering half off admission through Jan. 12. Instead of the usual $18, you'll pay just $9 to see such exhibits as Rubbers: The Life, History, & Struggle of the Condom and Action: Sex and the Moving Image. Don't forget to visit the OralFix Aphrodisiac Cafe and the gift shop.

The window to sign up closes at midnight Sunday, according to Groupon's posted countdown. (Note that outside of Groupon, the museum's website also offers a $3 off coupon.)

While I dig Groupon (and WalletPop knows a man who lives off them), I quickly delete many of the offers. But sex is sex. And it does indeed sell. Within hours of the deal dropping into my e-mail, thousands had bought in. It seems many of us want to be naughty and nice on a budget. Maybe this year Black Friday can segue into Sexy Saturday.
