Britax recalls car seats over breaking clip

Britax is recalling its pricey Chaperone infant car seats after three children suffered cuts when the chest harness clip broke, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

Because the part is also small, the government is warning that it can also pose a choking hazard to the infants using the seats. Britax Child Safety told the CPSC that it received four reports of the clip breaking.
