Black & Decker, Haier freezers recalled after some catch fire

Haier America Trading LLC of New York City is recalling 67,500 of its chest freezers -- including one model sold under the Black & Decker brand at Walmart stores -- because a capacitor in its circuitry can overheat and possibly catch fire, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission.

So far no one has been hurt, but 18 incidents have been reported, including four fires that caused minor wall and smoke damage as well as spoiled food.
