Apple iPad Hits Verizon Wireless Stores Today
Verizon Wireless is introducing Apple's (AAPL) iPad tablet computer today.

Customers who buy one of the three iPad/ MiFi bundles on offer will be able to take advantage of the carrier's monthly access plan, which offers 1 GB of data for $20.
Apple sold about 4 million iPads during the first half of the year and plans to sell a further 9 million in the second half.
Verizon customers have long been frustrated by their inability to get the Apple iPhone with Verizon Wireless. The smartphone is still only available through AT&T (T). But reports have suggested that the iPhone could come to Verizon in early 2011.
