Two Planes Bump in Seattle
Passengers on the Dallas-bound plane were evacuated as a precaution. No injuries were reported.
Sea-Tac spokesman Perry Cooper says the moving plane, with 139 passengers onboard, was pushing back from the gate when its winglet struck the rear tail of the empty jet that was still at the gate.
Both planes were taken out of service. An Alaska Airlines spokeswoman says the airline is investigating the accident and assessing damage to the planes.
