Apple to Hold Media Event; Speculation on New Products Builds
Apple (AAPL) will host a media event today, amid a frenzy of speculation about what new products the company will unveil.
Top of the list is a new version of Mac OS X, the computer operating system. The invitation send to reporter and bloggers last week included an Apple logo with the image of a lion, ABC News reported.

The current version of OS X is called "snow leopard" and previous versions have been named after big cats including the tiger and the panther.
Other possible additions to the Apple line include an updated MacBook Air, the company's ultra light laptop computer. There are reports that that Apple will present a smaller version of the MacBook Air.
Yet more possibilities include a touchscreen Mac computer and a reworked iLife suite
