Munchkin recalls bath toy after little boys were hurt
is recalling its Bathtub Sub children's toy after almost two dozen little boys were hurt across the United States and Canada while playing with the toy during bath time, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada said.
The battery-powered Bathtub Sub has an intake valve on its belly with a pump to draw in water and propel the toy, and the valve can also suction up loose skin, the CPSC said. The agency and the company said there have been 19 incidents of lacerations to boys' genital areas, including one that needed medical attention. In Canada, there have been two reports of minor injuries.
