Clearly borrowing from Michael Jackson's Thriller
music video, the new Halloween Zombie Boy
in Happy Aquarium
is a premium, Limited Edition item that comes with its own dance moves. Each one costs 14 Pearls or 12 Facebook Credits ($1.20 USD). A Halloween Zombie Girl
is also available for the same price, and she dances too.
While the concept is nice, what sucks is that you can't buy a whole bunch to line them up for performances, because they'd only dance when you tap on them with the green pointer icon. (Can you imagine having to click on a row of these tiny guys and gals for a synchronized number? It's potentially aggravating.) When they're not dancing, they just stand still, swaying slightly, acting pretty much the same way they do when you first see them at the shop.
We're not sure why Crowdstar didn't release these with their own cycling animation instead of needing a trigger finger to poke and prod 'em. But once Halloween Zombie Boy starts dancing, he's quite a sight. At one point, he lets out a creepy, silent scream. I'm sure the lack of sound is just laziness on the part of the game makers, but it's classically effective
According to this official demonstration video by Happy Aquarium
, it only takes one tap of the glass to trigger the dancing animation for all the zombies in the tank! But it's still hard to tell if the items come with their own music too.
