Borders is experimenting with its coupons, releasing different types of offers to gauge what sparks purchases. At least, that's my guess. The latest Borders coupon gives readers 30% off the list price of all hardcover books online. Use coupon code BHC1019B. Not valid in stores. Expires tomorrow, Oct. 19, 2010, at 11:59 p.m. PST.

Like past Borders coupons, you must be part of their free loyalty program, Borders Rewards, to redeem this coupon. You can join online or in stores in no time. Unlike past coupons, this one is not valid at Waldenbooks or Borders Express. One-time use only, though there does not seem to be a limit on how many hardcovers you can purchase, as long as you do it all at once.

Caveats: cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, sale pricing, coupon, or discount, including group discounts, except Borders Bucks. Excludes Borders Rewards Plus memberships, previous purchases, shipping, coupon books, newspapers, magazines, comics, audiobook downloads, eBooks, eReaders, and eReader Protection Plan Packs.
