Ryobi brand drills sold at Home Depot stores are being recalled after the company received nearly four dozen complaints of them overheating, smoking and even catching fire, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

About 455,000 of the cordless drills are subject to the recall. The affected drill is the HP 1802M, which has an 18 volt rechargeable NiCad battery. They are blue and black and have a red and white Ryobi nameplate on the side.
