Mafia Wars: Option to trade Animals and Las Vegas items coming soon

Ever been in that awfully ironic situation in Mafia Wars where you and a friend gift one another a Mystery Animal only to find out upon opening that each of you got the animal that the other needed? According to a cryptic post on the Mafia Wars Facebook page, Zynga will soon be adding the ability for mafia members to trade select animals and Las Vegas items amongst one another.

As of this writing details are scarce, but we imagine this will apply to randomized gifting items like the Mystery Animals and Las Vegas Collection items. While we don't know for sure, this trading feature will probably not affect your daily gifting limits, because if that were the case, what would be the point in trading? We hope trading will add a new layer of depth to the game, making gifting more meaningful and collecting items for buildings and jobs much easier. Stay tuned for more updates when this feature finally goes live.
