Acne treatment the breakout bargain of Spa Week
Registrants for Spa Week pay $50 for normally expensive beauty treatments at participating spas around the country. Many of the services fit comfortably into the pampering category, but eradicating breakouts can be a far more urgent matter. "Even one pimple alone can change how people feel," Bloch said. "It's visible, it's your face. This is an opportunity to make the most amount of change."
Bloch is extending Laser Cosmetica's offer throughout the month. Note that the extended regimen of five treatments three weeks apart costs $2,000. An introductory sitting, Bloch said, allows "an individual to decide how effective it is and whether it's worth it." Laser Cosmetica has six other locations in and near New York City plus another in Miami. But according to Spa Week, the $50 acne laser special is available only at the West 24th location.
Both adults and teens, male and female, are welcome, Bloch said, although those under 18 will have to be accompanied by a guardian. Those who buy the full package will get a second sextet of treatments, worth $2400, for free. "This is an incentive to try something that is extraordinary," Bloch said.
The salon-inclined will find other $50 bargains around the nation, including the following:
-- Microdermabrasion facial (normally $175) at Izalia Laser Hair Removal & Rejuvenation in Alexandria, Va;
-- Dermasweep skin resurfacing ($150) at City Magnolia Day Spa in Frederick, Md.;
-- "Skin suitable" facial with skin analysis ($175) at Renew Hair and Skin Center in Bingham Farms, Mich.
As always, you'll have to sign up for Spa Week at its website. Let the beauty begin.
