Mafia Wars Italy: Return to the birthplace of the mafia this month

Well, it's about time we made it back home. Zynga just announced that the next destination for Mafia Wars will be Italy and we'll be there by the end of this month. According to the announcement, our first Italian destination will be Rome where we'll duke it out with bosses like a gladiator (it's 2010... really?) and building an Italian villa. In other words, this is definitely more than a challenge mission.

The Zynga team also mentions that they've, "made some other improvements that we can't wait for you to check out when Italy goes live later this month." We'll have to wait and see what those improvements are, but this will probably be the time when the multi-gifting feature finds it way to all players. Come to think of it, Italy could also be where we can nab that "God Father" title found recently.

Unfortunately, this update implies that Las Vegas Districts 7 and 8 is the last major content update before Italy and the sun will soon set on Sin City for quite some time. Hey, don't be blue. You're going to one of the most romantic cities in the world... to blow it all up.
