Allergy danger: Hostess recalls chocolate chip muffins

Hostess Brands Inc. is recalling certain Chocolate Chip Mini Muffins multipack boxes sold in stores nationwide because Banana Nut Mini Muffins were put in the packages by mistake and could put those with allergies in jeopardy, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said.

The banana muffins contain walnuts that are not listed on the packaging and can cause potentially severe reaction in anyone who is allergic. The chocolate chip muffins don't contain walnuts. So far no one has reported getting sick from the mispackaged muffins.
