It is rare for deals to have a public benefit, but in this case the cliche is true: everybody wins. Get a $20 Rite Aid gift card and a $5 donation to your local Parent Teacher Association (PTA) when you transfer a prescription to the chain drugstore using a special PTA coupon. To get the prescription transfer deal, your local PTA must join Just Between Friends, an organization Rite Aid is partnering with to offer this school fund raiser. Joining Just Between Friends is free.

Once the program is set up, parents, teachers and friends can get the coupons through their local PTA. You need to submit the PTA coupon when you fill the prescription transfer. The deal ends Dec. 31, 2010. The PTA coupons are valid at Rite Aid's approximately 4,800 stores across 31 states and Washington, D.C.
