Happy Pets launches a new Fan Appreciation Event with a free Mystery Pet

The last time Happy Pets gave away a free pet was the Limited Edition Crowdstar Cat, which was only available for 24 hours on the fifth day of Crowdstar's first Fan Appreciation Week in April.

Facebook games have always offered the occasional freebie to fans to encourage them to keep playing, but Crowdstar hit upon something big with their FAW. Since then, "fan appreciation" has become a buzzword, but it's remained an effective marketing strategy.

Instead of launching another fan appreciation day or week across all their games, Crowdstar is having a Fan Appreciation Event for one day, for just one hour, for one of their most popular games -- Happy Pets. Like other specialized promotions of this type, this deal also comes with its own Facebook event page.
