Ladies rule: Free Martha Stewart home improvement workshop at Home Depot

Sign up for Home Depot's next Do It Herself workshop on Sept. 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. and if you are one of the first 30 people, you will get a free project organizer. Even if you don't get the organizer, the home improvement workshop is free. It features (read: is soft pitch for) Martha Stewart Living products and will offers expert tips to coordinate kitchen, paint, and carpet choices on a budget.

Home Depot has free workshops every weekend. Topics include interior and exterior painting, decorative flooring solutions, home energy efficiency, fall plant maintenance, and maintaining your driveway.
