You've got to try these happy hour specials in Miami!

Doraku Sushi

1104 Lincoln Rd
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Happy Hour: 4PM-7PM daily

Doraku Sushi is my favorite happy hour destination in Miami. Close to home and featuring items such as rock shrimp, edamame, crab rolls and Ahi Poke, Doraku offers an affordable happy hour menu with items ranging between $2 and $5. Happy hour takes place every day from 4PM-7PM. Enjoy a lovely dining experience after work as you relax and unwind with your favorite cocktails such as lychee martinis and Asian pear saketinis. I recommend getting to Doraku before the 6PM rush so you can claim a spot at the bar and enjoy your martini and sushi before the dinner crowd rolls in.

Mambo Cafe

401 Biscayne Blvd
Miami, FL 33132

Happy Hour: 4PM-7PM daily

Mambo Cafe has two-for-one drink specials during its Miami happy hour from 4PM to 7PM, and it is open weeknights from 11AM to 11PM and weekends from 11AM to midnight. The restaurant serves everything from beer to upscale tropical cocktails and also offers a wide variety of Caribbean appetizers and entrees such as calamari, ceviche, shrimp salad, Cuban sandwiches, cornmeal with pork and codfish casserole. You can enjoy a full meal or just come by for drinks and appetizers. Either way, the menu is very reasonably priced, the drinks are spectacular and the view of the marina caps off the experience.

Lou's Beer Garden

7337 Harding Ave
Miami Beach, FL 33141

Happy Hour: 5PM-9PM daily

Lou's offers terrific happy hour specials, including two-for-one deals on select beers and wines, every day from 5PM to 9PM. Located on Miami Beach, Lou's is a great place to stop by for a drink and a bite to eat after work or before venturing out for the night. The stuffed squid with chorizo, bread crumbs and cheese is fantastic, as are the pate and mixed cheese plates. You can get a variety of tapas as you sample the beers on tap and relax with friends. The setting is hip, the music is excellent, and the outdoor patio is a great setting if you choose to spend the rest of the night there.

Chevys Fresh Mex

8191 NW 12th St
Doral, FL 33126

Happy Hour: 4PM-7PM and 9PM-close daily

Chevys has two-for-one happy hour drink specials every day from 4PM to 7PM. That's not all –- happy hour returns from 9PM until close, at this popular local restaurant and bar. They offer all the Mexican appetizers you desire, including guacamole prepared table-side with the fixings of your choice. Whether you choose to come by for a meal or a drink after work, the bartenders will prepare your margaritas the way you like them, at a great price. Nachos grande and the Fresh Mex sampler are favorites of those stopping by for a drink, so enjoy some tasty Miami style cocktails, nachos, spicy wings, and quesadillas after work.

Tobacco Road

626 S Miami Ave
Miami, FL 33130

Happy Hour: Sat-Thu 4PM-7PM, Fri 6PM-7:38PM

Known as one of Miami's best happy hour restaurants, Tobacco Road does not disappoint. If you're in the mood for live music or simply want to toss a few cold ones back after work, you will want to visit this historic Miami restaurant and take full advantage of its specials. Voted Miami's Best Rock Club by the New York Times, Tobacco Road has three stages and offers nightly dinner specials as well as happy hour specials that last until 7PM. Order some cheese fries, hot wings or conch fritters to accompany your beer or Jack and Coke. Be sure to check the website, as specials tend to change depending on the night. Friday nights you can enjoy select drinks for less than $1 while you listen to live music. Ever since Tobacco Road was awarded Miami's first liquor license in 1912, this slick local bar has remained one of the most popular spots for happy hour in Miami.

Blue Martini

900 S Miami Ave, Suite 250
Miami, FL 33131

Happy Hour: 4PM-8PM daily

Blue Martini is sleek Miami lounge that's open seven days a week, with happy hour specials served daily from 4PM to 8PM. Come by during this time to enjoy a two-for-one price on beer and some of the most potent cocktails in Miami, as well as half-priced food. Past happy hour, this restaurant stays busy well into the night on Fridays, so either come early to reserve a spot or visit during weekdays, when you can enjoy a much more mellow, after-work crowd. The background music is a nice touch, although it can get a bit loud at times. Give Blue Martini a chance and it could become one of your favorite watering holes after work. Its location is especially convenient if you work in Brickell or downtown Miami.

Mary Brickell Village
901 S Miami Ave.
Miami, FL 33130

Happy Hour: 3PM-7PM daily

This hip Brickell restaurant offers happy hour drink specials daily between 3PM and 7PM with two-for-one cocktails and half-priced beer and wine by the glass. You can also take advantage of the early bird special and knock $2 off all entrees from 3PM to 7PM Monday through Friday. The Greek sampler platter is always a favorite of mine, along with the white sangria and passion fruit margarita. The crab sofrito is infused with tomato, garlic, onions and oil, and is complimented by one of the exotic acai and pear caipiroska cocktails. If you choose to visit the Balans Miami Beach location (1022 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139; 305-534-9191), happy hour specials apply there as well.
