In addition to the number of bars, the Gaslamp Quarter also provides rich variety. Within one block you can dine at an Australian or Mexican restaurant before moving on to enjoy cocktails at a sleek San Diego dance club, an Irish Pub, an elite rooftop lounge, or a cigar bar. The great thing about happy hour in San Diego is the endless competition to bring patrons in translates to everything from regular and late night specials to free food to discounted events.
