L.A. Flea Market at Dodger Stadium bursts onto the bargain-hunting scene

In Southern California, flea markets are big business. The long-running Rose Bowl Flea Market is a local institution, and pop-up markets in other cities have created something of a pocket weekend industry for antiquers, clothes hounds, and crafters. On a sizzling hot day in July, a huge new endeavor debuted: The L.A. Flea Market, a monthly event held in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium overlooking downtown Los Angeles, appeared. I was there.
