Get 'Slimed' and Save On Two Nickelodeon Cruises

Norwegian Cruise Line is sweetening the pot on two Nickelodeon cruises that promise passengers a week with "slime-filled entertainment all day."

Book by Sept. 13, and receive up to $250 in onboard spending credit, plus put down only half the standard deposit.

The "Nickelodeon All Access Cruises" are on the Norwegian Jewel, round-trip from New York to the Bahamas, on Feb. 20; and the Norwegian Epic, round-trip from Barcelona to Italy, on July 24.

In addition to a chance to get "slimed" with green goo, the exclusive family programming on the cruises includes meet & greet sessions with stars from the network's hottest live-action shows.

While this year's line-up is still to be announced, past participants on Nick sailings have included stars from iCarly and True Jackson VP.

NCL says there will also be special viewings and premieres of episodes of the shows and opportunity to meet such costumed characters as SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer and Aang the Last Airbender.

The Jewel cruise visits Orlando (Port Canaveral), Nassau and the cruise line's private Bahamas island of Great Stirrup Cay. The Epic cruise calls at Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Rome (Civitavecchia) and Naples, Italy, and Palma, Spain.

The shipboard credits are per stateroom and based on category – for a balcony stateroom, for instance, the credit is $75. Fares are from $899.
