Last week, we reported on a crotchety New York Times editorial that expressed shock and dismay over the growth of the social games industry, took its turn bashing FarmVille, and ended by telling "60-some-million FarmVille players to consider growing some actual plants."

With such a flagrant putdown by a paper of record, we can't help but give it the finger. And not the digitus tertius of disdain, because what would that prove? But these two photos of FarmVille Freak JS' home garden should deliver a strong pair of two green thumbs-down.
