Wendy's going to Moscow (and Siberia)

According to ABC News, Wendy's is planning to enter the Russian market in 2011. Sources say that Wendy's is in talks to sign a franchise agreement with Russia's Food Service Capital Group that will begin to launch stores in Moscow and Siberia. Wendy's is based in the U.S. and is owned by Wendy's/Arby's Group Inc.

The new stores will most likely have higher prices after Wendy's decided to ditch cheap bacon. The new Apple-wood smoked, center cut bacon, which is already used in premium sandwiches. will be a part of the company's new 'You Know When It's Real' campaign.
