The reason U.S. Bank's web site is down

U.S. Bank customers may have noticed that for a little more than 14 hours, at least, the web site has been down.The message that customers are getting when they try to log into their account, reads:

"U.S. Bank Internet Banking with Bill Pay is undergoing routine maintenance updates and is unavailable. It will be available shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience."
