Chinese Users Report Problems With Google Page

Updated

Chinese users reported that a question-and-answer page provided by Google (GOOG) was inaccessible, less than two weeks after the company launched the service.

A Google spokeswoman told The Wall Street Journal that the company was having no technical problems with www.google.com.hk/wenda, but declined to comment on whether or not Chinese authorities had blocked the page. "Google.com.hk has generally been available to users since we moved our search services there," the spokeswoman told the paper.

Last month, Chinese authorities renewed Google's license after months of debate and tension over official censorship of Google.
