Sarah McLachlan to Launch Free JetBlue Concert Series

If you're lucky enough to be traveling through JetBlue Airways' Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Thursday, you'll be able to enjoy a free, live show by Sarah McLachlan.

And those following JetBlue on Facebook can also win access to the 7 p.m. concert.

The performance is the kickoff event for JetBlue's "Live from T5" concert series this year, the second year the carrier has sponsored live entertainment for its passengers on the ground at JFK.

Grammy award-winning McLachlan is celebrating her new album, "Laws of Illusion."

The concert will take place post-security in the Marketplace at Terminal 5. The 15 winners of JetBlue's Facebook contest will be allowed into the secure area along with ticketed passengers, the carrier said.

Contest winners will also get tickets for the Lilith Tour 2010's New York concert on July 31. McLachlan is a co-founder of Lilith.

JetBlue is not saying who else might pop up on the roster this year. Those performing in the concert series last year included Dan Dyer, Nicole Atkins, American Princes, Alberta Cross and Justin Townes Earle, among others.
